During an interview with Gamasutra,Â tech director Martin Amor talked about the aims of their latest installment into the Hitman series, Hitman Absolution.
During the interview the subject of howÂ detailedÂ the characters in the game whether important or un-important would be, to this he replied
We’ll sometimes use the term “hyperrealism”. We want to make it more real than real, in order to convey a certain feeling about it, and so that’s what we’re trying to do.
Hopefully IO Interactive will be able toÂ achieveÂ this sense of realism and create a great game.
